What are the guidelines for the swap?

Each project should take no more than 10 minutes to complete. Your project should contain at least two layers and one embellishment. Make something you will be proud of! You can plan a 6x6 scrapbook page, card (full cards only), or a 3-D item.

Bring all inks, tools, embellishments, and paper products required to make your project. Everyone is responsible for bringing their own adhesive to complete the projects but if your card uses Glue Dots, Dimensionals or other specialty adhesive, you should include them with the supplies for your project. Make sure all paper is cut properly, and check and double check to make sure you don't forget anything that people will need to complete your project.

Please have all cardstock, ribbons, etc. scored/precut, and provide everything needed to stamp and assemble your project. If you are using a background stamp or a stamp with multiple colors, it may be a good idea to “pre-stamp” some of your pieces. This might be easier on your ink pad! Everyone will be responsible for bringing their own adhesive but if your project requires special adhesive, i.e., glue dots, two-way glue, you will need to provide that.

Label all of your personal hardware with your name or initials! The organizers cannot be held responsible for any items that are lost!

You also include a completed sample of your project to stay with your shoe box through the day. Include a sheet of instructions that includes a “recipe” for recreating your project. If your project requires a template, please include one for each participant.

Your projects must be left at the stations until everyone is finished. If you need to leave before everyone is finished, you can arrange to pick up your supplies from someone else who is staying longer.
